The Administration department provides leadership and direction for all schools. This includes the principal, vice principals, and other administrators who oversee the day-to-day operations of the school. 

Administration is also responsible for developing and implementing the curriculum, which is the set of academic standards and expectations for students. They also work to ensure that teachers have the resources and support they need to deliver effective instruction.

Other aspects of administration in Dickson County Schools include budget, finance, payroll, human resources, facilities management, student transportation and student health.
