Parents and Guardians,
As a courtesy to families, Dickson County Schools provides an optional damage protection plan to alleviate the cost of replacement or repair* of District Chromebooks in the event of theft, power surges, natural disasters, accidental damage, such as spills, drops, broken keys/keyboard or cracked screens or shells not related to intentional neglect or abuse.
Without this protection, families are responsible for the full cost of repairs or replacement.
Enrollment is a one-time payment of $40 unless it must be used to cover an incident listed above. If used, another $40 enrollment payment will be necessary to re-enroll.

Payments
Previously, payments were submitted via cash or check to the child’s school or submitted online via PayPal. Cash or check payments are still accepted at the school your child attends; however, we have now moved online payments to the Linq Connect portal where school meal payments can also be made. https://linqconnect.com
You will need your child's school student ID number to complete the account & payment setup, which can be found in the Skyward family portal. If at any time you need to re-enroll your child in the protection plan, payments can be submitted on the Linq portal.
If you have any questions, please contact your child’s school.
*Blatant abuse or neglect will not be covered by the protection plan.
