Dickson County Schools Remote Learning Day
The Dickson County School System will be on a Remote Learning Day, tomorrow, Friday, April 4th, due to inclement weather conditions. This is a flexible learning day where students learn from home using uploaded materials with their Chromebooks or other materials/resources that have been given.

Students and families should have been given "teacher office hours" to provide support for their learning, if needed.

All extra-curricular activities will be canceled.
All daycare sites will be closed.
No breakfast or lunch served.

If you have any questions, please email your child’s teacher or principal.

Welcome

Michelle Prieur, Principal

Michelle Prieur
Families,

I hope you had an opportunity to enjoy some quality family time.  It is hard to imagine that in just a few short weeks we will celebrate the holidays.

I would like to take this opportunity to formally introduce myself.  I am Michelle Prieur and I am honored to be the new principal at Burns Middle School.   I am proud to be in my 29th year of serving the students of Dickson County.  Over the course of my journey, I have worked as a teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal.

As an educational leader, I strongly believe that by establishing a collaborative learning environment with high expectations, we can build relationships that will help BMS continue to grow as we support students’ academic and social goals. As a community,  we can pull together to make BMS the best for our students.

I am excited about partnering with you to ensure success for the remainder of this year and years to come.
