We, the students of Dickson Middle School Student Council, strive to establish and/or maintain the following:
a representative voice in school affairs and activities, involvement in student activities, the promotion of school spirit, the good standing of our school, harmony between students and faculty, high ideals and scholarship, and good citizenship in our school and community.
Some of the events we do throughout the year: Leadership workshop, teacher appreciation goodies, teacher appreciation meal, community service event, community donation event, helping other groups in our school when needed, and a banquet for all members at the end of the year.
Membership information and requirement forms are available each year in mid-August in our main office. Induction is in September. Executive members are elected in the spring and must be current members of student council.
