With over 230 students, the DMS band is the largest in Dickson County.  Students regularly perform at DMS athletic events as well as hosting their own concerts.   Additionally, both bands perform at several events a year, including the Veteran's Day Program, the Memorial Day Program, and concert festivals.

The DMS bands are divided into the Concert and Symphonic bands.
