Mrs. Cunningham is beginning her 19th year in education. During her time as an educator, she has served as a classroom teacher, interventionist, instructional coach, assistant principal, and now principal. She loves working with elementary school children and watching them realize their own potential.
She has a
BS from APSU and Ayers Fellow and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Lipscomb University.

When she is not at school, she enjoys being with her family, watching the UT Vols play football, and reading.
Mrs. Shelton taught 3rd - 5th grade at Oakmont Elementary School for 10 years. In 2012, she moved to Charlotte Elementary School as a 3rd grade teacher. She joined the leadership team at CES as Assistant Principal during the 2017-2018 school year. She has a BS in Elementary Education from APSU and a M.Ed in Leadership from Tennessee State University.
