Welcome to OES!

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of Oakmont Elementary School, it is my delight to welcome you to a new school year.  I hope that you find this website both useful and informative.

OES in one of nine elementary schools in the Dickson County School District, which is located approximately 30 minutes west of Nashville, TN.  We serve children in Kindergarten through fifth grade and have an enrollment of approximately 400 students.  Our students will attend Burns Middle School for grades 6-8 and Dickson County High School for grades 9-12.

Oakmont Elementary School enjoys a fabulous reputation as a one whose faculty and staff are focused on caring for and making decisions based on what is best for each student.  We are blessed to work collaboratively with parents and businesses who routinely support our efforts and who are actively involved in education.  It has been a pleasure getting to know such a warm educational community.
